A variety of software versions are available to meet nearly every need from
software replicating crosshair generators with simple point-to-point measurement
to full motorized X, Y, and Z stage reading and digital edge detection.
ZView DMP (Digital Measurement Plus) series software is a PC-based field
of view dimensional measurement and imaging software that turns a conventional
microscope into a powerful measurement system. The DMP programs are specially
designed with an integrated driver for the Vitana PixeLINK digital camera
(sold separately) to run "live." The software uses advanced edge detection
technology for sub-pixel accuracy in measurements and calibrations on "live"
digital or captured images. With four versions to choose from, nearly every
user can take advantage of the mega-pixel imaging with sub-pixel precision
of ZView's software for remarkable measurement accuracy.
The simplest version is ZView's DMP-1000
2D field-of-view point-to-point measurement software. Measure lines,
circles, angles, and distances. Feature results can be exported to text
files or linked to spreadsheet applications. Simple annotation tools and
image comparison tools. Create collections of saved images. Inspection overlays
include crosshair, rectangle, circle, and resizable grid.
Next, ZView's DMP-2000
2D field-of-view point-to-point measurement software. In addition to
the capabilities of the DMP-1000, DMP-2000 offers tolerance functions that
conform to ASME Y14.5M 1994. Easily create, save and run programs.
ZView's DMP-3000
software adds stage measurement to the DMP-2000 capabilities. ZView supports
a variety of encoder interfaces including computer card, RS232 and USB. This
is one of Capra's most popular software packages.
At the high end is ZView's DMP-4000
CNC measurement software. This software supports stage mapping, programmed
lighting, zoom and laser sensor (optional) in addition to the features listed
above. ZView supports several US made motion controllers including motion
controls from MEI, Galil and Parker Automation.
DMP Minimum System Requirements
Pentium 450 MHz or faster processor, 128 MB RAM, 50 MB available
hard disk space, video card with 24 or 32 bit true color graphics (DirectDraw
support preferred), 8MB VRAM, monitor with 1280x1024 resolution, DirectX
7.0 or higher, CD-ROM, Windows 98 SE, ME, XP, 2000 or NT 4.0 w/SP6.
