The XC-003/03P is a 3CCD RGB color camera module designed mainly for machine
vision and image processing applications. Sony has developed a new 3CCD
C mount optical prism block to achieve three times higher resolution compared
to a 1CCD system. By utilizing the standard C mount lens system, XC-003/003P
allows customers to use a wide variety of lenses to satisfy many optical
requirements. Expensive bayonet mount lenses are not required. The XC-003/003P's
improved external trigger shutter function called "E-DONPISHA" will allow
input of a random external pulse for instant RGB output. This feature is
very useful in high speed color inspection systems.
