Features:

• Viewing Heads: Precise Siedentopf binocular optical prism system. Graduated for interpupillary distances and diopter adjustment differences. Inclined 30^o and rotates 360^o with lock screw feature to assure convenient observation in any position.
• Nosepiece: Quadruple revolving nosepiece is mounted on a dustproof ball-bearing raceway with positive click stops and rubber ring for easy rotation; special system assures correct positioning of objectives for parfocality and parcentricity.
• Stand: Modern and modular design has a lustrous oyster-white finish which is also acid-resistant. Low position coaxial coarse and fine adjustments are extremely precise. Our adjustable tension control allows the user to adjust the tension of the coarse control to his or her own preference and will compensate for any wear in the system over many years of use. Easily adjustable focus stop allows for rapid image focusing while protecting specimens and objective lenses.
• Stage: Extra large stage (158 x 130 mm) and built-in double-plate graduated mechanical stage with low positioned coaxial adjustments. Ball bearing movement and a vernier scale graduated to 0.1mm. Will accept a 75 x 50 mm (3 x 2") slide.
• Sub Stage: Two lens, N.A. 1.25 Abbe condenser with iris diaphragm and filter holder is adjustable by rack and pinion control. Built-in centering device provides evenly illuminated image fields at all magnifications.
• Optics: All optical components have the highest quality hard coatings to maximize light transmission.
• Eyepieces: Widefield 10x (18mm field of view).
• Objectives: Semi-plan DIN standard achromats, color coded. 4x, 10x, 40x, 100x (oil immersion)
• Illumination: 6V 20W Koehler-type halogen illuminator is completely variable and has a field diaphragm to refine the light for each objective. These microscopes incorporate s precentered mount for the bulb filament which perfects the light for all contrast techniques (brightfield, darkfield, phase contrast or polarization)
